Pan fried Brussel Sprouts


Brussel Sprouts 

Sliced almonds

Vegetable oil

Salt and Pepper



* First trim the sprouts bottom and remove rough outer leaves

* Cut the sprouts in half, base to top, then in half again base to top

* Put about a tablespoon of oil into a heavy based pan and heat it up

* Add sprouts and almonds to the pan. Fry together, keeping them moving in the pan until they are nicely browned and starting to crisp up.

* Season with salt and pepper and serve.
