   So its been couple of weeks since my last post. I have been busy trying to add a recipes section to my website. family, farming, new season, new year, update, veg garden -

Well January is well under way and we are so behind on the gardening aspect of the farm. The weather has definitely been against us with the amount of rain we had   this autumn/winter. Our field is just a muddy bog so trying to plant our crops has been put on hold until the ground firmed up. However, Im not one to sit by and just wait. I get itchy feet and my brain starts to whirl and then I start conversations with my husband that start with...."I've been thinking..."

    I just watched the last sunset of 2019 and with the end of year closing and the beginning of a whole new decade about to start many of us are being bombarded with messages on social media about "making a new start" or "improving yourself" for the new year. While I agree its a great thing to have a plan and when is better than the new year to set goals, but that said, I disagree strongly with the message that your life up until now wasn't good enough in some way.      so as we are busy boxing up Christmas veg orders for customers and baking gingerbread for the kids, the days buzz by and all too soo the big man will be squeezing himself down the chimney.
